Cities Get Federal Money For Community Forestry Programs

From Staff And Wire Reports

Post Falls and Wallace will receive federal money for tree planting and community forestry programs.

Out of nine grants totaling $20,000 from the U.S. Forest Service, only two North Idaho cities received money. The other grants went to communities in Montana.

Communities must match the federal money, with cash or in-kind contributions. , DataTimes
