Red Cross Seeking Volunteers

The American Red Cross is looking for volunteers to respond to house fires and other local disasters, especially in the Spokane Valley.

Red Cross volunteers are trained to serve food and beverages to victims and emergency workers, as well as provide victims with shelter, clothing and emergency medical assistance.

Red Cross disaster classes are free to the public. The next series of classes will be held Feb. 6-10 from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Red Cross building, W315 Nora. To register, call the Red Cross at 326-3330.
