Associated Press

Large cellular phone makers rolled out new models that work like mobile phones outside and cordless phones inside as they gathered Wednesday for Wireless ‘95, the industry’s largest trade show.

Motorola Inc., the largest maker of mobile phones, Fujitsu Ltd. and McCaw Cellular Communications, soon to be a unit of AT&T Corp., said they would sell new phones by the end of the year that have the dual personality.

The new technology, which reflects the conversion to digital cellular phones, allows companies to develop several levels of pricing for mobile service where only one has existed previously.
