Juice Distribution Company Acquired

From Staff And Wire Reports

A Spokane gynecologist and a property manager have teamed up to buy Inland Beverage & Gas Inc. in the Valley for an undisclosed amount, officials said Friday.

Rick Rubio and Dr. Peter Fern took over management of the juice and CO2 distribution company in December, and expect to close on the sale next week, said spokesman Brian Keatts. The company will be renamed Northwest Juice and Beverage.

Sellers are Gary and Anna Johns, who have owned the company about three years, Keatts said.

The company, N2224 Locust Road, employs 10 people to distribute Juice Tyme beverages to restaurants, lounges, cafeterias and schools and CO2 and helium to florists and gift shops. Northwest Juice also services area Welch’s juice vending machines.
