Girl Scout Camp Has Room For More

From Staff And Wire Reports

Camp Four Echoes, the Girl Scout camp on Lake Coeur d’Alene, has openings for girls interested in attending summer camp.

Girls who wish to participate do not have to be Girl Scouts but must be in at least the third grade. Sessions for the camp have begun already and are offered in threeday, one-week and two-week intervals. Camp sessions will continue through August.

Special interest programs such as sailing, wind surfing, bicycling, hiking and canoeing are among the activities offered, as well as basic camping and swimming programs.

Camp Four Echoes is accredited by the American Camping Association and focuses on program quality, health and safety.

Registration is accepted up until the day before the session begins. Transportation will be provided. For more information, call the Girl Scout Inland Empire Council at (800) 827-9478.
