Police Arrest Two On Drug Charges

From Staff And Wire Reports

Police arrested a man and woman on charges of possessing several “rocks” of methamphetamine Tuesday at a Sandpoint home.

Kent Johnson, 31, and April Nordquist, 19, both of Coeur d’Alene, were arrested at 909 Ruth Street in Sandpoint, a police dispatcher said.

A 14-year-old was charged with possession of narcotics paraphernalia, which is a misdemeanor, she said.

Sandpoint police - assisted by Bonner County sheriff’s deputies - served a search warrant at the home at 2:12 p.m.

There, they found the methamphetamine, stolen property and narcotics paraphernalia, the dispatcher said.
