Here is a look at action Tuesday in the Washington Legislature:
GOVERNOR:
No major action.
SENATE:
No major action.
The Education Committee approved and sent to the full Senate SJR8215, which would amend the constitution to allow a simple majority of voters to authorize school district property levies.
HOUSE:
No major action.
The Natural Resources Committee approved and sent to the full House HB1939, to require the state to appeal a federal court decision giving Indians rights to harvest shellfish from private lands.
