Transportation Dept. Meeting On Highway Widening Tonight

The Idaho Transportation Department will have a public meeting tonight to discuss widening U.S. Highway 95 south of Sandpoint to Sagle.

The meeting is at 7 p.m. at the Sagle Elementary School library. The department is seeking input on how the new section of road should be striped for traffic.

The $500,000 project will widen and improve two miles of road. Turn lanes will also be installed to ease traffic congestion through Sagle.
