Falcon To Be Freed Back Into Wild

A falcon that spent three days soaring high above the blue-light specials in a Kmart will be returned to the wild by early next week, a store manager said.

The female bird, captured by store employees late Wednesday night, was turned over Thursday to a falcon expert who planned to nurse it for three to four days before freeing it, said Troy Littleraven, the store’s operations manager.
