Montana Joins Nbc Crew

Joe Montana wasn’t without work for long. The four-time Super Bowl champion quarterback, who retired from football a month ago, will join NBC as a commentator.

The network said that Montana will be a studio analyst on the pregame show “NFL Live.”

There had been rumors of Montana joining NBC even before he made the retirement official in mid-April with a two-city farewell.

Since announcing he wouldn’t be back with the Kansas City Chiefs, Montana has also become a part-owner of an Indy racing car.

Safety Louis Oliver, once a top-round Miami Dolphins draft pick, signed with the team as a free agent after a brief stint with Cincinnati.

Wide receiver and kick returner Dwight Stone, who had 5,103 all-purpose yards in eight seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers, signed a one-year contract with the expansion Carolina Panthers.
