Deaths Possibly Drug Overdoses

From Staff And Wire Reports

Spokane police are looking into the unrelated deaths of two men who likely died from drug overdoses.

Joseph Dudek, 31, was found dead at 2015 E. Dalton about 6:30 a.m. Monday. Black tar heroin and methamphetamine was on his body, detectives said.

Three hours later, Jason Komberec, 25, was found dead at 1227 S. Thor. Police believe he also overdosed on drugs, but won’t be sure what type until blood tests are completed.

Detectives and Spokane County Coroner Dexter Amend are warning users of the possibility that some “hot” drugs, or drugs mixed with dangerous cutting agents are being sold.
