Boise State Smothers Montana State, 35-7

Quarterback Tony Hilde threw two touchdown passes and ran for a third score as host Boise State defeated Montana State 35-7 in the Broncos’ final home Big Sky Conference game Saturday.

Hilde complete 19 of 30 passes for 263 yards as the Broncos won their fifth straight, raising their record to 4-2 in league, 7-3 overall, heading into next week’s showdown with arch rival Idaho.

Montana State, which dropped its third straight, fell to 2-4 in league and 5-5 overall heading into the traditional game against Montana next Saturday.
