Compiled From Wire Services

Oprah junkies fear not. The queen of daytime TV talk has re-upped for two more years.

Ending weeks of delay, Oprah Winfrey announced Friday she would continue hosting and producing the “Oprah Winfrey Show” through 1997-98 - her 12th season.

Whether to go on, Winfrey said in a statement, “was a difficult and important decision for me, personally, because I wanted to feel completely confident that the show can still make a difference in people’s lives and stay fresh and entertaining.”
