Radio: KGA-AM (1510) 2 p.m.; Hockey Tonight with Craig West immediately following.

Spokane: D Sean Gillam (1 goal, 7 assists), C Darren Sinclair (4, 4), C Trent Whitfield (5, 7), LW Joe Cardarelli (4, 5), RW John Cirjak (4, 3), GK David Lemanowicz (3.12 goals-against), D Hugh Hamilton (1, 3), RW Randy Favaro (2, 3), RW Jay Bertsch (1-1).

Kamloops: LW Hnat Domenichelli, C Bob Maudie, RW Jerome Iginla, D Jason Holland, D Brad Lukowich, GK Randy Petruk.

At a glance: After a 5-point outburst in Prince George Friday night, Domenichelli retained his WHL scoring lead. Five-point nights are nothing new for Domenichelli - he had 9 goals and 11 assists in Blazers’ first 5 games. Although coach and GM are new to their jobs, the tradition remains in place. The Blazers are still No. 1 until somebody figures out how to knock them off. Chiefs have a shot at bringing home a share of the West Division lead. With a balanced attack strengthened by the return of Jason Podollan from the NHL Florida Panthers, Spokane should give GK Petruk his sternest test of the young season. Rounding into shape from late-summer ankle surgery, the diminutive Leeb is the force he was at the end of last year and makes the Chiefs that much deeper in scoring pop. Chiefs have jumped on the opposition early in 4 of 5 games, allowing coach Mike Babcock to work in young players. Derek Schutz has been quietly effective for a 16-year-old rookie.
