Crash Kills Prepster

Compiled From Wire Services

A Brewster High School football running back was killed and his backup was injured in a car crash while riding home from the county fair, the Okanogan County Sheriff’s Office said.

Michael Marin, 17, died at the scene on Old Highway 97 north of Brewster Sunday evening.

Marin and Tim L. Isensee, also 17, of Brewster, were passengers in a car driven by 17-year-old Lance M. McGuire of Brewster, who lost control of his car as he attempted to pass another car, the sheriff’s office said.

The car left the road and rolled several times, trapping Marin and Isensee inside.
