Doctor’s Death Due To Drug Overdose

A doctor who was found dead in a shower at the home of “Top Gun” producer Don Simpson had suffered an accidental drug overdose.

“There is no foul play suspected” in the death of 44-year-old Stephen Ammerman, said coroner’s spokesman Scott Carrier.

Ammerman died of an overdose of cocaine, morphine or heroin, Valium and a prescription antidepressant drug, Carrier said.
