Spokesman-Review To Launch Investment Guide

The Spokesman-Review will launch a weekly guide to investments on May 11 to better serve the needs of readers who are active investors.

Investment Weekly will include expanded listings for mutual funds and stocks.

The six-page supplement will be free, but will be delivered only to Spokesman-Review subscribers who request it. It will arrive with the Saturday paper.

To receive the first issue of Investment Weekly, you must call 747-4422 or 1-800-338-8801, ext. 7000, before 5 p.m. May 8.

No financial listings will appear in regular editions of the Saturday Spokesman-Review beginning May 11. The Saturday Business page will continue to appear in the A section, and the Your Money page will move to Saturday.

Investments Weekly will include listings for the 3,500 largest mutual funds, the 2,800 stocks most heavily traded on the New York Stock Exchange, the 2,300 most active Nasdaq stocks, and 700 American Stock Exchange listings.

That’s about 1,600 more listings than currently appear in the Saturday newspaper.

Listings in the Tuesday-Friday Spokesman-Review will remain the same.
