Get A Thrifty Twist On Back-To-School Style

Kylie Meyer Horizon

Need something to fill up your summer schedule? How about checking out some great fashion ideas to help fill out your wardrobe for school?

The second annual Cancer Patient Care “Back to School” fashion event is something you won’t want to miss.

It all happens Saturday, when local models from ages 12 to 18 strut their stuff in the latest - but cheapest - back to school fashions. The outfits modeled can be purchased following the show in the Cancer Patient Care “Thrift Store with Flair.” Our Generation will highlight the thrift-store fashions in its Aug. 21 issue.

Hosting the show is 93 ZOO FM’s Casey Christopher. Doors open at 1 p.m., the show is free but a 93 cent donation toward the cancer center is encouraged. The center is located at 124 E. Trent. See you there!
