Alvin Robertson Arrested

Compiled From Wire Services

Former NBA guard Alvin Robertson was arrested in San Antonio for allegedly causing $3,400 in damage to a 1994 BMW owned by the woman he was jailed for assaulting last month.

Robertson, 34, was being held in the Bexar (Texas) County jail on $2,500 bond. He was charged with criminal mischief, a third-degree felony.

This was his third brush with the law since July 13, and the second involving Sharan Raeford.

On July 13, Robertson was charged with assault and criminal trespass after allegedly breaking into Raeford’s apartment, choking her and biting her face.

Robertson, a member of the San Antonio Spurs in 1984-89, played for Toronto last season. He is a free agent.
