Keisha Anderson scored 26 points and Ann Klapperich added 19 Monday night as No. 23 Wisconsin beat No. 10 Notre Dame 81-69 in women’s basketball.

The Badgers (7-0) are off to their best start, while the loss was the second in five days for the Irish (7-3). It also broke Notre Dame’s sevengame home winning streak.

Tanisha Boston hit a 3-pointer to start a 15-2 run that put the Badgers ahead 71-62 with 6:12 to play. Notre Dame couldn’t break Wisconsin’s man-to-man defense, managing just two Beth Morgan free throws during the spurt. Wisconsin’s biggest lead was 77-64.
