Suit Filed Over Porn On Computer

Compiled From Wire Services

A couple shocked to find graphic child pornography on what they thought was their new laptop computer is suing the seller for $11 million.

Thomas and Denise Saey and at least one of their children accidentally viewed an image of two adults “performing an extremely lewd sexual act on a young child,” the couple’s lawyers said Friday.

The federal lawsuit seeks $10 million from CompUSA for alleged consumer fraud over its practice of selling some used computers as new. The Saeys are seeking another $1 million for emotional distress.

The Saeys’ attorney, C. Christopher Lozano, said the pornography was probably left inadvertently by the computer’s former owner.
