Triplet Rape Case Goes To Jury

Compiled From Wire Services

Identical triplets claim their father watched to make sure they took birth control pills each night and then began raping them, telling them he was acting on instructions from God.

Their father, who says his daughters concocted the story, burst into tears as he testified on Thursday, saying “I did not touch my children!”

The jury began deliberating hours after the 47-year-old man took the stand. He could get up to 20 years in prison if convicted of indecency with a child.

The triplets, now 17, testified that their father began forcing them to have sex with him in 1994 when they were 16 years old.

The girls said the rapes began after their mother moved out. She later divorced their father.
