From Staff Reports

People interested in serving on a committee to study Kootenai County government have until June 30 to apply.

In April, the Kootenai County Commissioners agreed to create a group to study “the existing form of county government and to make recommendations to the board of commissioners for change.” The committee will be comprised of seven people.

Fourteen people have applied for the committee to date.

Applications are available from the commissioners office in the Kootenai County Courthouse on Government Way or by calling 769-4450. , DataTimes
