Green Wins Pole At Watkins Glen

David Green, the most prolific pole winner in the NASCAR Busch Grand National Series the past three years, did it again to lead qualifying for the Lysol 200 at Watkins Glen (N.Y.) International.

Spokane’s Chad Little clocked in at 25th.

Michael Schumacher bolstered his bid for a third straight French Grand Prix by winning the pole position at Magny Cours, France.

Schumacher covered the 2.657-mile circuit in 1 minute, 15.989 seconds and averaged 125.136 mph.
