Sixty-five demonstrators who blocked the front door of the Detroit Free Press to show support for striking newspaper workers were arrested Thursday.

Several hundred people attended the demonstration. Most of those arrested on misdemeanor disorderly conduct charges were members of the United Auto Workers.

It was the fourth such demonstration in recent weeks. So far, 154 people have been arrested to draw attention to the eight-month strike against the Free Press, The Detroit News, and the agency that runs their business and production operations, Detroit Newspapers Inc.
