Shots Fired Near Convenience Store

From Staff Reports

Someone inside a silver, two-door car fired three to four gunshots while driving past a South Hill convenience store Saturday afternoon, Spokane police said.

Police responded to the 7-Eleven store at 2828 E. 30th just after 4:30 p.m.

No one was injured, said police spokesman Dick Cottam, adding that at least one round struck the store or a neighboring business.

Employees at nearby Super Lube, 2815 E. 30th, said they heard the shots between 4:30 and 4:45 p.m. They did not see who fired them, said an employee who didn’t want his name used.

Three back males were inside the car when the shots were fired, Cottam said. No further description of the suspects was available.
