Arizona Prep Standout Signs With Ewu
Chris White, a 6-foot-9, 200-pound forward from Brophy Prep High School in Phoenix, Ariz., has signed a letter-of-intent to attend Eastern Washington University and play basketball next year.
Eastern’s second recruit of the early signing period, White averaged 14 points, 10 rebounds and two blocked shots per game last season as a junior while leading the state in field-goal percentage.
Tim Van Wieringen from Lake Washington High School in Bellevue, Wash., was the other early signee.
White is a former teammate of Stephen Moss-Kelly, who is a freshman for the Eagles this season.
