Resort Planned Near Old Mining Town
A $200 million resort complex near this old mining town east of Snoqualmie Pass is planned by a company that purchased 7,400 acres of Plum Creek Timber Co. land.
The site was bought by Trendwest Resorts Inc. of Klamath Falls, Ore.
Trendwest, which runs 18 resorts in five Western states, Mexico and British Columbia, hopes to break ground in a year for a resort that may include a hotel and convention center.
