Fuhrman Signs Deal To Write O.J. Book

Compiled From Wire Services

Mark Fuhrman, the Sandpoint resident and former Los Angeles police detective who figured prominently in the O.J. Simpson murder investigation and trial, has decided to add his own book to the expanding library of titles about the case.

Regnery Publishing Inc. announced Monday that it has signed Fuhrman to write a step-by-step recreation of how the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman were investigated in the first weeks.

His book also will address the racially heated remarks he made during tape-recorded interviews with a filmmaker - remarks that undermined his credibility as a prosecution witness.

Publication is scheduled for next spring.
