Very Few Changes In State Prep Football Rankings

Associated Press

Twin Falls moved up and Skyline moved into the A-1 Division I rankings, but there was little other change in the Associated Press Idaho high school football poll.

Sportswriters and broadcasters remained unanimous in their selection of defending champion Highland of Pocatello as the top pick among the largest schools.

Madison’s victory kept the two-time defending champion Bobcats atop the Division II rankings. Lewiston handled Lake City and Sandpoint mauled Coeur d’Alene to remain second and third.

Snake River continued its domination of the A-2 ranks. In A-3, two-time defending champion Glenns Ferry continued to reign. In A-4, top-ranked Nampa Christian was idle but almost lost its No. 1 position to Mackay.
