Wolf Pack Punishes N. Texas
Big West
Chris Lemon carried 29 times for 129 yards and a touchdown and John Dutton threw for two scores Saturday as Nevada routed North Texas 40-13 in a Big West Conference game at Denton, Texas.
Jeff Graham’s field goal gave North Texas (3-5, 1-1 Big West) a 3-0 lead with 7:29 to go in the opening quarter.
The Eagles’ lead didn’t last long. Dutton threw touchdown passes of 9 yards to Trevor Insley and 14 yards to Geoffrey Noisy and Damon Shea kicked field goals of 30 and 19 yards as the Wolf Pack (5-3, 2-1) took a 20-3 halftime lead.
