Oregon Guardsman Dies In Training Accident

An Oregon National Guard private was killed early Tuesday in an accident involving a five-ton military truck.

Pfc. Randall R. Driskill and his unit from Roseburg, Ore., were undergoing two weeks of intensive annual training at Fort Lewis, the Oregon Military Department said in a news release.

He was a member of C Company, 1st Battalion, 186th Infantry out of Roseburg.

No details on the accident were available. Enterprise school teams still Savages Enterprise, Ore.
