Yamana Seeks Cohort For Exploration Work
Yamana Resources Inc. of Spokane said it is looking for a large company to form a joint-venture to help explore its properties in Chile.
The exploration company owns 10 mineral concessions on 445 square miles in northern Chile. Rothschild Canada Ltd. is helping Yamana seek a large partner.
Yamana has holdings in 13 companies worldwide. Earlier this year, it bought three mines in Washington state - the Schuer Bet gold deposit located 75 miles north of Spokane, the Blue Lake gold property in the Okanogan Valley and the nearby Palmer Mountain copper deposit.
