Christmas Tree Disposal Offered
The Sandpoint Independent Highway District is offering free Christmas tree pickup beginning the third week of January. Residents are asked to put trees next to the street by Jan. 19.
The trees will be ground into wood chips, so they must be free of metal, including wire or nails, or other debris.
Crews will visit each street only once.
