Cda Mines Acquires Option On Gold Mine

From Staff And Wire Reports

Coeur d’Alene Mines Corp. has purchased an option to the Boton de Oro gold mine located next to the company’s El Bronce mine in northern Chile.

The company can, at any time, spend $2.5 million to buy the mine, which could contain as much as 250,000 ounces of gold. Coeur would need to spend $500,000 to develop the mine in order to fulfill the agreement.

Coeur already buys ore from Boton de Oro to be run through the milling facilities at El Bronce.

El Bronce-owned land already surrounds much of the Boton de Oro mine, according to the company, and geologists believe that the same gold veins in El Bronce extend to the other mine. , DataTimes
