Woman Arrested In Crack Bust At Airport

From Staff And Wire Reports

Spokane County sheriff’s deputies arrested a Spokane woman at the airport Monday night after they found her with 10-ounces of crack cocaine.

Detectives from the sheriff’s Investigative Support Unit served a search warrant for Sharell N. Labat, 23, of E. 1002 Broad St., when she arrived in Spokane from Los Angeles.

An ISU spokesman said the warrant was based on information supplied by an informer, and that the estimated street value of the crack was $30,000.

Labat, who was also carrying $700 cash, was booked into the Spokane County Jail on a charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.
