New Program To Help With Changing Career

A new program to help people change careers or re-enter the work force is being offered by the Center for New Directions at North Idaho College.

“CareerWise” is a six-week program, but people may attend any of the weeks. Classes will begin Feb. 3, meeting on the NIC campus from 9 a.m. to noon, Monday through Thursday. The cost is $15 per week, or $75 for six weeks. Some partial scholarships are available.

The program will cover such topics as building self-confidence, workplace values, matching interests and skills, and preparing for an interview. More information is available by calling 769-3445. , DataTimes
