The federal judge hearing the Oklahoma City bombing case agreed Wednesday to allow the closed-circuit television broadcast of the trial to be moved to an auditorium of a Federal Aviation Administration building at the Will Rogers World Airport in Oklahoma City so more victims and their families can attend.

Only 150 seats were available in the site set aside for the broadcast, a courtroom in the federal courthouse across the street from the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building where 168 were killed and hundreds more were injured. In all, nearly 3,000 people may be eligible to attend the broadcasts, and both victims and prosecutors had urged Federal Judge Richard P. Matsch to find more room.

The U.S. attorney’s office considered several sites and suggested the FAA auditorium.
