Tamecka Dixon scored 24 points, including 11 in a decisive secondhalf run Thursday night that led No. 12 Kansas to a 69-52 win over No. 11 Texas Tech.
The Jayhawks (15-3 overall, 6-1 Big 12) led by as much as 18 in the first half, but Texas Tech (13-5, 5-3) went on a 15-4 run to cut the Kansas lead to 31-24 at halftime.
The second half began to swing toward the Red Raiders, who moved within 35-30 with 18:07 left. But Texas Tech was unable to recover from a 28-14 run that gave Kansas a 63-44 lead with 6:21 left.
