North Side Man’s Death Suspicious

Compiled From Wire Services

Detectives are calling the death of a north Spokane man whose body was discovered Monday suspicious.

A relative found the 41-year-old man dead on his apartment floor just after 11 a.m., police Lt. Jerry Oien said.

His name was withheld pending notification of other family members.

The victim lived in Unit 162 at the Graymayre Crossing Apartments, 636 E. Magnesium.

Oien said there were no obvious clues as to what killed the man, who had been dead for several days. An autopsy will be performed later this week.

Until then, investigators are treating the case as a possible homicide.

“His house was in disarray, and family members said he was a good housekeeper,” Oien said. “It was enough to raise our suspicions.”
