Elephants Pack Trunks For Florida Point Defiance Zoo’s Pachyderms Sold For $20,000 To Disney World

Thandi and Moyo, the two African elephants at the Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium, are heading to Disney World’s Wild Kingdom in Orlando, Fla.

Commissioners for the Metropolitan Park District of Tacoma, which owns the zoo, on Monday approved the sale of the pachyderm pair for $10,000 each. The move is planned for later this month.
