Air Pollution Reports

A total of 21 air quality complaints were reported to the Spokane County Air Pollution Control Authority between May 5 and May 10.

The most common complaint, open fire, was reported eight times.

May 5

Open fire reported at 7912 W. White Road at 11:40 a.m.

Open fire reported at 3910 E. Westwood at 4:37 p.m.

Odors reported at West of 2500 N. Rebecca at 5:19 p.m.

Open fire reported at 2322 E. 42nd at 6:49 p.m.

Smoke/odors from a solid fuel burning device, such as a wood stove or fireplace, reported at 14813 E. Rich at 8:24 p.m.

Odors reported at W. 11100 block Newkirk at 9:29 p.m.

May 4

Dust reported at Wilcox Gravel Pit at 10:17 a.m.

May 6

Smoke/odors from a solid fuel burning device reported at 2527 N. Perrine at 10:45 a.m.

Open fire reported at 21st and Glenrose at 12 p.m.

Dust from construction reported at Argonne and Buckeye at 3:30 p.m.

Dust on paved road reported at Highway 2 between Riverside/Millers One at 4:30 p.m.

May 8

Open fire reported at 504 N. Bowdish at 7:37 a.m.

Open fire reported at SE Corner Westwood and Cottonwood at 1:15 p.m.

Odors from compost reported at Colbert Compost Facility at 8:11 p.m.

May 9

Dust from unpaved road reported at 4600 block N. Billy Jack Road at 10:32 a.m.

Dust from construction reported at 500 block S. hington at 11:45 a.m.

Odors reported at Baker Commodities at 1:05 p.m.

Odors reported at Cascade Mobile Home Park at 10:39 p.m.

May 10

Open fire reported at 3300 block E. Buckbrush Road at 2:07 p.m.

Dust from roads reported at High Bridge Park area at 10:16 p.m.

Open fire reported at 3311 E. Buckbrush Road at 7 p.m.
