Nethercutt Will Attend Tree Planting

FOR THE RECORD (May 25, 1997): Time wrong: Rep. George Nethercutt will attend a tree planting ceremony at 7:30 p.m. Monday at Lincoln Plaza in downtown Spokane, The time of the event was reported incorrectly in a story in Saturday’s newspaper.

Rep. George Nethercutt will be at the Lincoln Plaza on Monday for a Memorial Day tree planting ceremony.

The downtown plaza, east of the intersection of Main and Monroe, is home to several trees damaged by last winter’s ice storm. The trees represent Spokane prisoners of war.

The ceremony starts at 7:45 a.m. , DataTimes
