The Washington Huskies announced Thursday that high school basketball standouts Senque Carey and Grant Leep have signed letters of intent to play for the Huskies.

They will enter school next fall.

Carey, a 6-foot-4 guard, averaged 26 points, 12.7 rebounds and 7.8 assists per game for St. Francis High School of Mountain View, Calif., as a junior. He led his team to a 26-3 record.

Leep, a 6-7 forward, led Mount Vernon to a 28-1 record last season, averaging 18.2 points and 8.5 rebounds. Mount Vernon lost to Mercer Island 57-51 in the State AAA championship game last winter.
