He’s Left Holding The Bag

White House press secretary Mike McCurry was sacked Wednesday. Not fired, sacked. A huge paper bag, decorated with a pen-drawn happy face, awaited McCurry as he approached the White House briefing room’s lectern Wednesday. “Hey, who’s this?” McCurry joked. “I like this.” He picked the bag up and put it over his face and shoulders, until he was covered from hip to head. With a muffled voice, McCurry announced, “A briefing today from an anonymous source.”
