Two Teens Booked After Valley Chase

From Staff And Wire Reports

Two teenagers led the Washington State Patrol and the Spokane Sheriff’s Department on a high-speed chase through the Spokane Valley Sunday morning.

A sheriff’s deputy started pursuing a blue Ford Bronco traveling erratically near Trent and Pines about 10:15 a.m., WSP said.

Over the course of the next 30 minutes, the 16-year-old driver of the stolen Bronco would nearly ram a WSP car and cause a traffic accident at Sprague and Dollar.

The Bronco finally was stopped when officers rammed it at Fourth and McDonald. One patrol car and two sheriff’s cars were damaged. The Bronco had minor damage.

The boy driving the vehicle was booked for possession of stolen property and felony eluding. His passenger, 18-year-old Adrian Bojorquez, was booked for being a minor in possession of alcohol.
