Ewu Capitalizes On Gu Errors To Earn Another Volleyball Win

Eastern Washington defeated host Gonzaga 14-16, 15-7, 15-9, 15-11 at Martin Centre on Tuesday, improving upon its best volleyball start in school history.

The Eagles (15-3) capitalized on 53 Gonzaga hitting errors and hit .147.

Lacey Coover had 16 kills and 12 digs to lead three Eagles with double-doubles. Kim Exner added 13 kills and 13 digs, while Lynn Robison contributed 10 kills and 22 digs. Toni Schwinn added 52 assists.

Gonzaga (8-10) suffered through a .046 hitting night. GU was paced by Theresa Spink’s 18 kills and 17 digs while Diane Pascua recorded 13 kills and 23 digs. Nicole Lamoure added 56 assists and 21 digs. , DataTimes
