Weight Watchers Suspends Sarah Ads
Because of the death of Diana, Princess of Wales, Weight Watchers International has suspended a multimillion-dollar television campaign that began on Monday featuring Sarah, the Duchess of York.
The commercials were the first in which the duchess appeared since agreeing to become a spokeswoman for Weight Watchers, a unit of H.J. Heinz Co. Plans were also canceled for the duchess to make personal appearances on behalf of Weight Watchers.
