Neighborhood Council Plans Meeting
In/Around: Indian Trail
The Indian Trail Neighborhood Council will meet from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, at Balboa Elementary School, 3010 W. Holyoke.
The agenda features an update on proposed housing developments, including Shawnee Canyon, Windhaven PUD and Windhaven apartments, developments on Five Mile Prairie and those on the north end of Indian Trail Road.
There will also be an update on Spokane Horizons, a call for volunteers to serve on committees and act as community liaisons.
A new committee encouraging neighborhood spirit will be considered.
Further assessment of the Indian Trail Road project is also planned to identify issues such as a disaster study, preserving native vegetation and the need for bike paths.
