Eagle Down To Talon With Loss Of Summit Family

With the loss of the Mitsubishi-built subcompact Summit family, Eagle is now down to one car, the Talon sports coupe, which also is built by Mitsubishi.

It’s a great drive and a real kick in the pants in its 210-hp AWD TSi form, and the 140-hp base model is entertaining, too; a blend of performance, style and comfort.

Chrysler once had plans to rebuild the Eagle lineup, promising a new Vision sometime in 1999. But the fact that it wasn’t due until a year after its LH siblings at Chrysler and Plymouth raised eyebrows in the industry.
